I have this same problem, and never got an answer from here. Hardware
replied to me original question by asking if my machine had PCI in it
(duh). I replied that it does, and never got another reply. I have tried
everything I possibly can, trying to install on the primary drive, install
from Win98, remove all extra cards from the machine, etc. Nothing works.
I gave up. I looked in the knowledgebase, and it assumed that if I got the
error I didn’t have PCI. WRONG! Still waiting for an answer.
