Problem when booting when QNX is install on partition

Hi

Having loaded QNX on a DOS partition and being very impressed I decided to
install it to a real partition, having on spare.

Made Dos boot disk from the ISO disk I had made and run though the install
and verbose and every thing worked fine.

I do have system commander, as I already have a Linux partition on another
disk, I use it’s boot manager. It recognized the new bootable partition, but
when I come to boot I get:

Press Esc for alternate OS… 0C

or

Press Esc for alternate OS… 04

and then it hangs and the reset button come into play.

Any ideas?

Phil

Hi Phil,

There is a knowledge base entry that discusses a problem booting
QNX using the Linux bootloader. The address is
http://qdn.qnx.com/support/bok/solution.qnx?10049
Hope this helps.

Regards,

Barry
