Hi! A kind woman sent me the QNXRTP cd along with a cd containing various
downloaded software and Patch B.
Eevrything is tar and gz. Ok. I’ve gunziped and untared it and in File
manager I can see all the differnt files…however I can’t get Package
manager to see them or install the Patch…what have I done wrong.
BTW, there’s no way I can download the Patch or anything else off the
interent because I’m in Indonesia…and it’s SLOW here.

Please give more detail about how the second CD is layed out.
I am assuming that the RTP CD (including the on CD repositories)
installed OK, and that you need to install some supplemental
repositories from the second CD. What extensions do the files on the
second CD have ? (should be .qpk, qpm, .qpr, etc.)

Thanks but I got it sorted out. Everything on the second cd was tared and
gzed. All I did was gunzip and untar into a folder and make that a new
repository. Everything then installed no problem. Really, it was just a
case of common sense…no jokes PLEASE!
