reinstalling qnx boot loader

I had a dual boot windows 2000 and QNX RTP on separate partitions, to be
selected in the QNX boot loader.
I had to reinstall win 2000 since it crapped out, but now the QNX boot
loader is gone. I was sure I could just use the boot disk to reinstall it,
but it goes right into installing the whole OS…
Appreciate your help
Markus

I was able now to boot into the QNX partition from a disk. In fdisk, it says
for the QNX partition “warning”. I selected the QNX partition for boot, the
it says “Maybe”.
Now I can boot back into QNX, but no other choice, I still don’t have the
loader where i can punch in the numbers 1-4 for the partitions.

I don’t know about the boot loader (probably in /sbin or somesuch - I
don’t even know what it’s called), but the install floppy really won’t help
you boot. You need to copy a 144 boot image specifically designed for
booting - not installation. It was available with the .EXE version of RTP-
dono about the regular. With the September CD, there was an executable on
the CD which you could run from Windows which also gave you the option of
making a boot floppy. Don’t know if this will help you in particular, but
here’s an article at QDN I found:
http://qdn.qnx.com/articles/jan1901/boot.html
Oh! Actually, there’s this article:

Hope this helps!

Isn’t it one of the features of the (QNX) fdisk utility?
