Hello all,
Recently I installed the QNX RTP onto my Dell laptop and eveything works fine except that I don’t know how to initialize the Sealevel 3602 PCMCIA Card RS422/485. I’m able to access /dev/ser1 & 2 wihtout any problem. Does anyone have any idea, I’d apprecaited. Thanks
Tony.
Hi Tony,
Could you run ‘pin con’ and ‘pin cis’(with the card inserted), and post the output.
Regards,
Joe

Hi Tony,
If this card does not work with devc-ser8250, then it will require a
special driver. Try starting the devc-ser8250 driver as follows: ‘devc-ser8250 -u3 0xaaa,b’,
where aaa is the I/O address from ‘pin’ and b is the irq. If no /dev/ser3
is created, then your out of luck.

Joe
