Slow downloads in QNX RTP

Anybody any ideas why i can start package manager downloads at fantastic
speeds , and slowly but surely slow down more and more , yet never quite
stop or finish downloads either? Any help welcome , has this happened to
you? Regards s.maytum@blueyonder.co.uk

I seem to have the same problem, I hope it’s not a Patch B thing given that
Patch B is a 5Mb download or thereabouts, this would be a bit of a catch 22
situation.

Davie,

tucows has the patch b in a form that you can download without
having to use the package manager.

http://qnx.tucows.com/preview/176660.html

it’s still 5mb though so you have to be patient.

i’ve been having the same problem, but haven’t had
a chance to try out patch b yet.

HTH,

Hi Arthur,

I tried the tucows patch b a couple of weeks ago, I downloaded it through
windows got it on to the QNX bit of the disk and then ran package manager.
Package manger thinks there is a couple of files missing and wouldn’t
install the patch.

If you have any success with it I’ll stand corrected as they may have fixed
the patch recently.

Cheers
