PCMCIA supported but not detected?

I am installing nto on a laptop with a LinkSys EC2T
the card is listed in the supported hardware, but QNX will not detect it,
even when I try to load the driver manually
(using the devn-ne2000). There is no message when I install the driver
io-net -d ne2000 verbose -p qnet
or when I mount the network
mount -Tio-net -obind=ether npm-qnet.so
the net directory appears, but no node is seen, even itself, and the net
conf utility does not even have a Devices window.
nettrap returns
no network cards detected
nicinfo returns
Could not open: /dev/io-net/en0 no such file or directory
What’s the problem? It’s not a bad card, because Win98 detects and uses it
without trouble.

The rc.local file with those commands returns the following errors –

unable to find process dhcp.client
devp-pccard illegal option -w

pin returns
unable to attach to PCCARD server (no such file or directory)

What version are you using? Do you have patch B. I have the exact
same card and it’s been working fine for me

What if you run those command manually

(same illegal option error for every letter in that cmd line)
pin returns
unable to attach to PCCARD server (no such file or directory)

I haven’t been able to load any patches from the web, not being able to

get there. It is possible I could download it using Windows, QNX is in the
Win98 partition.
Entering the commands manually got the same result at first for the
devp-pccard, so I did a use and the only options listed were -v and -i. I
ran the command as
devp-pccard -i7 and it ?worked? but trying to start network cfg returns
Could not open socket: no such file or directory
Netmanager terminated with exit code: 3
nicinfo and nettrap get the same results as before
pin now gets –
Sock Func Type Flags PID Base Size IRQ
1 0 Serial C–I -± None 0x2F8 8 3
1 Empty --MF-- None
2 Empty --MF-- None
2 Empty --MF-- None

Not good means that it’s not good  Serial means the card is beleive to
be
a serial card and not a network card, hence something probably went wrong.
