the rc.local file and they didn’t work. Mario has been the only one trying
to help, and I think he may be running short on ideas, so I’m hoping this

Yes I am:

Only thing left I can think of is to try to get Patch B from windows.
I think I have seen other threads somewhere that explains how to do this.

Here is what I found:

Yes, sometimes I have a trouble when I type
http://packages.qnx.com/repository2/ in IE5. Sometimes I get a blank page
“Index of /repository2”, sometimes I get an error message from proxy
“URL:http://localhost.localdomain/repository2 not found…”. But sometimes
I had the luck to look at repository2 from IE5 . Try to connect to
repository2 exactly and try Refresh button if you get a blank page.

You can moves thoses file to you windows partition (assuming you have
one…)
or on a CD (assuming you have hardware to burn a CD)
then created a repository that points to those files and should be able to
update.

Another thing you can do is ask for the latest CD. It contains
patch B on it. OR you can wait a wee bit longer for 6.1 to be
released and then order a CD. But if you are still only running
patch A then I would definitly try to at least get patch B on
a CD. There were many fixes to devp-pccard from patch A to
patch B. I have also helped someone using a IBM Thinkpad laptop
(I wrote the Knowledge base entry for it) and they had to
run patch B.

Erick.

OK, I’m in the process of downloading files. Any particular files I should

be getting? I’m starting by getting all the ones that start with os- I’ll
post the results when I get done.

I installed patch B, no difference. I installed patch C, no difference.

Nothing I do seems to accomplish anything at all. It just doesn’t want to
recognize that card.
