WORK STATION FAILS TO BOOT FROM QNX BOOT SERVER

QNX 4.24

I have tried to enter another logic card ID to a previously working BOOT
SERVER.
I did this by replacing an existing physical ID in netmap which was no
longer on the network.

However the workstation will not boot (I have checked the physical ID a
million times)

netinfo keeps saying …
"status 3 logical node not in node map "

even though I have just replaced a physical ID on one logical node for
another ???

Any thoughts ?

Did you reboot the server or reload the netmap by doing netmap -f.
The netboot program looks into the netmap file, will QNX networking
software looks into internetal netmap database.

By the way this is a QNX6 (rtp) newsgroup, you’d likely to can an
answer in the qnx4 newsgroup
