Unfortunately QNX does not support ATA100. So partition installation seems
to be unable for you currently. As far as I understand you told about some
trick to install QNX RPT as a file to FAT partition under Windows.

I can not boot from floppy. Drive c: (where is installed win2000) is ntfs
formatted.

I can not imagine this trick very well. Could you explain this procedure?

If your problem is to boot Win2000 from floppy, then

  1. Format floppy under Windows 2000.
  2. Copy to this floppy the next files:
    ntldr,
    ntdetect.com,
    boot.ini
  3. That’s all. Insert this floppy in drive A: and you will able to boot
from the floppy in Windows 2000.

If you wish to boot from floppy in DOS/Win9X - no problem if you have these
OSes. You only will have no access to volume C, but you will have access to
volume J (perhaps, this drive’s letter will be changed). Do not forget to
enable boot from floppy in BIOS. And remember - DOS and Win95OSR1 require
additional software to access FAT32 partition.

Best regards,
Eduard.

Thank’s for your triks.
My problem is that Qnx doesn’t start, from floppy boot and not each one.
Win 2000 works good everytime.
I think the problem is Ata 100 not supported and I hope in a new release of
Qnx Os with complete support for it.
Do you know something about it?

Goodbye and thousand thanks!
