Problem with installation of QNXRTP

Hi,

I’m trying to install QNX RTP (6.1) from a cd but I keep on getting the
following error:

…/diskroot file for root not found on any filesystem
starting with safe mode
unable to start devc-con


I’ve a Intel P3- 866, running WinNT
I created a partition on the main hard disk . This partition is a 690MB FAT
file system.

I have looked through the knowledge base on your website but the only
solution that I came up with was at

I have tried to start QNX with the suggestion in this solution but received
the same error.

You should have unformatted primary partition (not logical drive in extended partition) in order to
install QNX RTP into own partition. Launch windisk under NT for sure the unused disk space is not
in extended DOS partition. Partition magic from PowerQuest (pqmagic) is a good tool for resizing
extended partition.

NB! Promise ATA-100 IDE is not currently supported by QNX RTP.
