ata_start_ccb: func 10

I’m getting the following error after: ata_start_ccb: func 10 is executed;

Unknown ATAPI interrupt type

everything hangs sometimes right there, sometimes gets to;

Generating helpviewer search database.

I’ve disabled/enabled every combination of settings in my CMOS… I changed
out my CD, but not my HD yet.
I’m probably missing something simple…
Can anyone out there give me some help? please…

Hi Hartmut,

How is your CDROM attached? Is it on the primary chain or if its on the
secondary chain is it master? or if it is slave is a master attached? What
happens if you disable DMA in the BIOS and the startup? does that help?

Thanks

E.
