Mouse and Keyboard freezes during video card configuration.

Hello all.

On first boot of qnx where it is supposed to configure my video card and
monitor and all of those goodies. It fails installing when it gets into the
graphical part. I don’t know if the system is frozen, i don’t think so
though. The mouse and keyboard lock up, so i can’t get any further and i
have to reboot by turning the machine off.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

Also, I successfully installed qnxrtp on my laptop. Almost everything works
great, except my pcmcia network card. Its a linksys ether something, but i
don’t think that is the problem (not yet anyway). pin (i think that is the
name of the program) tells me all of my slots are empty. When i run
devp-pccard (i think) It just goes and gives me no errors or output, I don’t
know if that is supposed to happen. This is on a toshiba satellite, I can
try to figure out the specifics of the pcmcia stuff if anyone wants it.

Thanks a lot.

Hello,
even i am facing the same problem. as soon as i boot in QNX, it tries to
detect the video card, and my mouse and keyboard are not responding.

Could you please give me the link for installing the new patch for
devi-hirun.
Thank you
