Network Card causes hang

After installing RTP 6.1.0 onto a 166Mhz Dell 64Meg machine,
I found that it would always hang on boot. By trial and
error I found that pressing Space-Bar on load, then F11
(Disable Enumerators) F2 (Plug and Play Isa), would allow
the system to boot. Further reading lead me to press F6
(Verbose) many times. This resulted in seeing the system
hang while dealing with my network card. The card is a PCI
NE2000 card, brand “Simple Net” SN3200CT. The card has worked
fine under Win95 and QNX 4.

Is this of interest? I can just get another network card too.

Hi Mitchell,

I mailed this off to our Networking guy, and see what he would like to do.

Erick.
