Appearance Problems

Hello there.

After installing QNX 6.1 (download from www.qnx.com within Windows98) the
VOYAGER and the HELP-DESK doesn’t work properly. While the PACKAGE-INSTALLER
gives me full functionality (via WEB), the other programs seem to have
presentation problems on my machine. VOYAGER loads the pages but isn’t able
to display them. My Processor (Athlon) runs with 1,4GHz. Could that be the
problem?
I installed an older QNX version (6.0) on my fast computer and QNX 6.1 in
the same way on a 700MHz computer. Both worked fine.

Where could be the problem?

Thanx

This is usually a video card/driver problem, and if you post the details
of
the hardware inside you new box, someone from the hardware group might be
able to help you

My hardware:

ATX-Mainboard: K7T266 Pro
processor: AMD Athlon 1,4 GHz
graphics card: XELO GForce MX 400 (64MB)

when I use the tnt driver, HELP and VOYAGER will not run properly; with the
vesa driver it runs but very slow (e.g. window screen refreshments)

Thank you.

Hi,

Can you run the grafxscript that is found at:
http://www.geocities.com/erickmuis/file/hardware_scripts/nto

And send us the generated tar file.

Regards,

Joe

Look in the package installer for photon legacy fonts - should solve the
voyager problem.
