I am trying to install 6.1.0 Patch A on a 6.1.0 system.
Since I have no internet access under RTP I decided to download the
required files to Windoze and then import them to RTP and install.
I found PatchAUpdates.tar which seemed convenient with everything
bundled together. I untarred it in a directory and pointed the package manager to it.
However, when trying to install in it complained on a missing license file for a
component, I think it was the os-2.1.2-patchA component.
Hi, I am a new user. If I can’t connect internet without patch A, where can
I access the www repository using w98 or os2?
Thanks from Italy >> Enzo
You can download the Patch A archive (patchA.tgz) from: http://download.qnx.com/download/patches/patchA.tgz
Extract the files from the archive into a temporary directory (e.g. patchA).
Point your Package Installer at //patchA and install from there.
I installed patch A by this way without any problems.
You could look into .qpm file about which license file required and download it from packages.qnx.com/repository/<package???>.repdata/…

You have bad archive or you did not untar subdirectories.
