nettrap not found & video worries

Ok, so i’ve started from fresh and installed 6.1.0 from the iso that I
downloaded, and updated to Patch A.
Everything seemed fine except that there seem to be a heap of
applications/commands missing.

The most noteable, being the one that i want to use most, is nettrap.
Typing nettrap from a shell as root i get the lovely message saying not
found? Does anyone have any ideas of what’s going on? As far as I can
tell, it doesn’t exist anywhere on my system as an application, and I was
wondering am I using the wrong shell or something stupid like that?

Help appreciated.

Hello Matt,

The nettrap´ utility has been deprecated. All supported network cards should be detected automatically in QNX6.x. Check our supported hardware list at the following address. http://support.qnx.com/support/hardware/platform/network.html . If your hardware is on the supported hardware list, you can try running phlip´ to see if there are any devices under the Devices tab. If not,
this means your network card hasn´t been automatically setup. If the
card is a pci card you can try running `pci -vvv´ and check the output
for a network entry. This will give you the necessary information to
start the driver manually.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dave B.
