Installing QNX to SCSI Jaz disk

I’d like to try QNX by installing the RTP on a 1GB SCSI Jaz disk and booting
it directly. I’ve used this procedure several times in the past to test
various OS by setting up a Jaz disk just for one OS. That way I can avoid
messing with re-partioning my main EIDE drives and mucking about with MBR
changes and so on (I just disable them in BIOS before booting from SCSI).

Is this likely to work using the bootable CD image? I have 2 CD devices: one
IDE CD-ROM and a SCSI CD-R/RW. I read elsewhere that to install to a SCSI HD
(Jaz in my case) I need to boot the CD in the SCSI CD drive. Is that
correct? Once installed, am I going to have any problems running from the
Jaz disk?

It does seem to be the case that without a SCSI CD-ROM you won’t be
able to install to a SCSI drive. I’m not sure if a RW SCSI will work,
but logic would indicate that is should, at least for regular CD-ROM’s
and CD-R’s. CD-RW’s might be different.
