Silly Geforce2 ti

I was using a TNT2 Ultra with QNXrtp for months, but My family gave me a
great gift, or so I thought, a Hercules Geforce2 ti. I put it in my
computer and thought that everything would be good. But alas, my voyager and
help windows no longer display anything. After developing a hate/hate
relationship with non-accelerated vesa, I found out that there was a new
driver on developers.qnx.com. Downloaded it, followed the instructions, and
it didn’t work; same prob. I was told that there was a way to modify the
voyager binary to make it work, but I couldn’t find the lines that i was
supposed to change (although I probably just missed them I was tired at the
time). Any thoughts… help… would be appreciated.

Hello Nigel,

Does your card have 64Megs of RAM on it? If so there is a fix for that
card comming soon.

Regards,
Dave B.

yes, 64MB. Woohoo, then I’ll limp along with VESA in the knowledge of future
fixes!
thanks,

And me. I’ve been tearing my hair out for months with vesa mode, as
all browsers are affected. I’ve tried Voyager, Opera, Mozilla and no
dice.

Any timescales?

Hi,

A new devg-tnt.so has been made available (March 18) at developers.qnx.com
under ‘Fixes’. Try this version of the driver, is should fix things for you.

Regards,

Joe
