ATI All-in-Wonder 128 pro?

I was surprised that QNX personnel actually frequent these NGs, way to go
guys! (it’s refreshing to see a SW company that takes an active interest in
tech support).

But now I’ve got another question

I’ve got an ATI All-In-Wonder 128 pro 4x AGP – ID 5446 (not 5046)

It’s not being detected. I’ve tried adding it to
/etc/system/devices/enum/graphics and rebooting. It starts with the “New
graphics adapter” screen. But when I try to initialize the card using
devg-ati_rage128.so , it just turns off my monitor (until the time-out).

What can I do to get this working? Is there a way to spoof the driver into
recognizing it for real?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Will do.

Hello Jt,

Could you please upgrade to patchA. This has some changes that might
solve your problem.

If Upgrading doesn’t solve your problem, try downloading the pci-bios
found on > http://developers.qnx.com > in the fixed section.
You can then do a ‘which pci-bios’ to find the location of the binary
and replace it with the new pci-bios. After replacing it, use the mkifs
utility to rebuild you boot image.

If you’re still having problems after all of the above, run the graphics
grabbing script again on your upgraded system and send the info to us
again.

Regards,
Dave B.

DO NOT START PHOTON.

Then extract the scripts and login as the root user. Once you are
logged in as the root user, please run the script:
./grafxscript.rtp

Once the script has run, please send us the output to > hw@qnx.com

Thanks,
Dave B.
