I already did that Dave…
but they don’t mention the exact model number and if you look into
Xircom’s (now Intel) website, there are a whole lot of different models
that they make (CreditCard??, CardBus, non-CardBus, etc.) and they are
all named similar to what QNX refers to. Don’t know exactly which ones
QNX is talking about.
I think the supported hardware list should be more specific! That would
really help.

Santosh

We support the CardBus version. Model RBEM56G-100.
We do NOT support the PCMCIA version.

Is there a big difference between the two?
Can the drivers be easily ported?
I’m willing to give it a shot if its feasible…

The Xircom (Intel) website is generous enough to have the specs and a
template for writing a driver. So I feel it should be easy enough to port the
CardBus version to the PCMCIA version??
Any pointers would be helpful… that would be a nice pilot project in my
spare time

The two cards have completely different chipsets, so it would require a
new driver to be written for the PCMCIA card.

I did some checking and found that Linux supports this card and a linux driver is
available for it. I guess my best bet would be to just port it to QNX.
