install prob on Dell Latitude 8100

I’ve tried to install RTP 6.1.0 on a Dell Notebook. It fails with the
following messages (after turning on verbose mode):
unable to allocate resource: resource temp unavailable
range check failed mem dev ac42 104c 60700 (2 times, maybe soundcard)
detected EIDE
dev-eide blk auto=partition dos exec=all

Do you happen to have windows installed on this system? Can you do
an Windows install? I would like to see the output of pci -vvv if
possible.

I have not tried a windows install (system is running W2k), but I have some
