this is what i get when i try to boot from the cd:

boot from atapi cd-rom:

  1. fd 1.44 system type -(19)
    press esc for .altboot…
    press space bar to input boot options
    detected eide. scanning for devices.
    no qnx 6.1 or greater filesystems available to mount

if i try the verbose-mode i get this output:

starting slogger -l /dev/text
starting seedres
starting pci-bios
trying to detect eide
detected eide. Scanning for devices.
starting devb-eide blk auto=partition dos exec=all
path=0 - eide
target=0 lun=0 direct-access(0) - IC35L080AVVA07-0 Rev:
trying to detect scsi aha2
trying to detect scsi aha4
trying to detect scsi aha7
trying to detect scsi aha8

it seems like it detects the drive but having problems reading from it?
i have tried to disable the hptcontroller, it did not help.




my system
athlon tb 1600mhz
256mb ram
gf3
abit kt7a-raid
2x ibm 120gxp 80gb (one at the hpt370 controller)

it seems like it detects the drive but having problems reading from it?

For me it seems like it does not detect your cd-rom drive. What sort of CD drive do you have?
Where does it connect to (have you master if it’s slave)?
