Can't copy qnxbase.qfs file

QNX Newsgroups (Archives) qdn.public.qnxrtp.installation

Downloaded both the full size iso file and the small one. Used checksum –
OK. Tried installation to new partition – everything goes fine until it
tries to copy qnxbase.qfs file from CD – then it locks up system at 6%
complete.

Also tried working around by running from the CD and copying file manually.
Using File Manager it copied the ifs files no problem, but again, as soon as
I tried copying qnxbase.qfs, the machine froze.

My CD is < 1 yr old & I connected my hard drive to the motherboard directly
(I have a Ultra 100 Maxtor card). So, if I do get this fixed, will I be
able to re-connect my drives to the Ultra Card?

I tried copying qnxbase.qfs, the machine froze.

Can you copy the file from Windoze?

(If not, you didn’t burn it right)

Well I’ve spent another day trying to get QNX installed & I’m about to say
BYE-BYE. Everything the same as below – tried everything again, in
different flavours – same result. However, I do it, when the CD gets to 6%
the machine freezes and that’s all she wrote.

Tried burning the ISO at a slower speed? (ie: burn at 4x instead of 8x)
