QNX and Linux

I am setting up a multiboot system on a Dell Optiplex system. First I
installed WNT4.0, then the Mandrake 8.2 distribution, and finally QNX
6.1.0. The QNX installation seems to have affected the Linux
installation, when I go to the Mandrake Control Center, Hardware List,
the machine hangs when redrawing the screen, having scanned the
hardware. This worked fine in Linux before installing QNX. I also
reinstalled Linux, still the same problem.
Any clue? Did the QNX installation change anything in the PC hardware
that a reset would not clear?

Thanks, Peter

Sometimes some drivers have issues doing proper hardware resets in this
wonderful world of PCI devices never losing power. There have been several
people that need to pull the power plug between booting Windows and QNX
or QNX won’t find some devices. You might trying doing the same and see
if it fixes the issues you are seeing in Linux.
