Momentics PE installation problems

Greetings,

I am getting message “Unable to obtain license QNX_SE version 620” when
I execute ‘qcc -V’.

I have just installed officially released 6.2.0 Momentics PE to this
Windows 2000 host. There were no errors reported during installation.
I strictly followed all steps described in Momentics’ Installation
Note. It’s node-locked license, i.e. I am using license file that
resides on thsi host. I pointed FlexLm to this license file as described
in Installation Note.

Here are the contents of license file:

SERVER this_host ANY
USE_SERVER
VENDOR qnxlm
INCREMENT QNX_SE qnxlm 620 01-aug-2003 1 SN=102047-00460306
SIGN=xxxxxxxxxxxx
INCREMENT QNX_PE qnxlm 620 01-aug-2003 1 SN=102047-00460306
SIGN=xxxxxxxxxxxx

(I replaced my actual SIGNs with ‘xxxxxxxxxxxx’).

There is no any firewall, VPN, or any other FlexLm protected software
installed on this host except for Momentics PE 6.2.0. The network
configuration of this host is extremely simple - single 3C905B-TX NIC
with static IP 192.168.0.35.

In Windows’ Service view, I can see ‘Automatic’ in ‘Startup type’ column
for both QNXlm Service and QNXlm License Proxy. QNXlm License Proxy is
also running (as indicated by ‘Started’ in ‘Status’ column). The ‘Status’
column for QNXlm Service is blank. When I attempt to start QNXlm Service
(right clik → Start), I am getting the following error message:

Could not start the QNXlm Service service on Local Computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.

However, when I right click on QNXlm Service and select Properties,
then Dependencies, I don’t see services that QNXlm Service depends on,
or which are dependent on QNXlm Service.

There are two env. vars that were added during installation; they seems
to be set correctly:

QNX_HOST=e:\tools\qnx\620\QNXsdk\host\win32\x86
QNX_TARGET=e:\tools\qnx\620\QNXsdk\target\qnx6

When I bring up Flexlm Server Configuration tool, go to Start/Stop/Reread
view, and attempt to start server from their, I am getting error message
“Server Start Failed. The Server May Already Be Running!!”.

When I changed to “Server Status” view, and pressed 'Perform Server
inquiry", I have got the following:

Status

[Detecting lmgrd processes…]
License server status: @nt5-2

I would greatly appreciate any help.

The problem turned out to be caused by the fact that I have removed
client for Microsoft Networks from host’s network configuration.
I added it, and now everything works.
