no en0 created after io-net...

hi
i recently installed qnx on my laptop(ibm thinkpad). for some reason, after
2 days of effort, i still cant get my network(pcmcia) card up. it seems to
detect it and everything except but it doesnt create the device file en0

what i do:

slay io-net
io-net -dtulip -ptcpip
#works
ifconfig en0 10.4.2.16
ifconfig: SIOCGIFFLAGS en0 : No such device or address

i`ve checked pin, and pin cis and everything seems to be ok…
in pci -vvv there is no sign of my my pccard though…

any suggestions?

Please can you post the output from ‘pin’, ‘pin cis’ as well as the
‘pci -v’ output. What is the make of PCMCIA card that you have?

btw, i know the speedo driver should work for this but it seems only the
tulip driver works, ne2000 freezes the comp. and the rest dont work…

This PCMCIA card is not supported. It is a 10/100 PCMCIA card and we only
support 10/100 CardBus cards. That is why you don’t see anything when you
use the pci utility.

This PCMCIA card is not supported. It is a 10/100 PCMCIA card and we only
support 10/100 CardBus cards. That is why you don’t see anything when you
use the pci utility.
