I have a Soltek mother board with SiS 645 chipset (AC’97) - vid=1039
did=7012. The chipset is not identified in enumerator and audio is not
loaded. Sound works in Mandrake using the i8x0 driver.
By using spatch to insert the vid/did values into deva-ctrl-i8x0.so I can
get io-audio to load. However, sound plays at about 8x normal speed.
Is it possible to get i8x0 to work with this chipset? I suspect it
requires additional coding in the deva.
Is it possible to get the source for deva-ctrl-i8x0.so to expand it to
include this chipset?
