6.2 and scsi

I tried to install 6.2 on scsi machine.
At least now it’s possible to install it from scsi cdrom. Thanks.
But when I try to start from a floppy, boot freeze while initializing
ncr8 driver.

scsi = Tekram DC390U2W

Any idea?
