I made a 2GB primary partition, made it FAT32,
installed Momentics 6.2 along with Boot floppy.
Accepted all defaults, provided User name, password.
Booted from floppy, then license message displays,
then this:
“/.diskroot file for root not found on any filesystem”
“Starting with safe mode”
“Unable to locate fs-pkg”
What went wrong?
Something I missed?
Any ideas?
GF
Hello GF,
This sounds strange. What happens if you hit ESC to select altboot for
no DMA?

Dave B.

Hit Esc for .altboot…
Oooops.
This was a partition attribute problem.
Changed the attribute of the partition to visible, active.
Problem solved.
Momentics flies. Giddyup.
Tnx
