SMP on dual processor

Hi,

I have installed QNX 6.2 in a dual PentiumIII-MMX 450 Mhz machine. The
system works well but only with one processor.
Then, I have copied the “./boot/fs/qnxbasesmp.ifs” into /.boot and rebooted
the machine. The SMP kernel stops in the boot process. These are the last
lines presented in the verbose mode:

Mounting a qnx4 filesystem as /fs/hd0-qnx4 on /dev/hd0t79

(it remains stopped here for ever)

Help?

Thanks!

Carlos,

Make sure that the qnxbasesmp image is OK before you copy that into /.boot.
Perhaps is a good idea to try to build the
image one more time and copy to /.altboot (Alternate boot) in case you run
into the same problem.
