We have a flash disk and hard drive fitted to our system.
After power-up the BIOS scans and finds the hard drive and then boots from
Flash (all is OK
so far). QNX starts from flash and then says SCANNING for EIDE ----
After which it never returns.Any ideas ?
With the hard disk removed everything starts up OK .

It could be anything… Which type of hard drive connected? Is it supported chipset (IDE or SCSI controller)? Probably,
you need to pass custom options for devb-eide (is it’s scsi you have to rid of eide driver at all) or maybe you’re out
of luck with your hardware.
If ypu wanna know the truth, your system hangs during EIDE scan. That’s all.
Best regard.
P.S. What the hell you’re doing? Four the same posts. Sorry, but it’s not done here.
