Dell GX260

Just so you know guys. 6.2.1 does not install on that desktop box at all.
Boots from CD fine but fails to talk to the IDE controller (lots of errors
from block subsystem in verbose mode and no devices detected).

It appears to have i845G chipset. Hardware configuration
(jumpers/cabling/etc) is quite kosher. Windows works fine too.

The 6.2.1 beta did work for me on a 3.06GHz GX260. IDE was very slow because DMA
unsupported on it’s chipset.

Interesting. I tried beta2 and it did not work. This is 2.26Ghz model. None
of the previous QNX versions work either.

We also have some users who have 6.2NC running on GX260’s. They complain
about the speed of the IDE. I dont know what the clock speed of their
machines is.
