CardBus controller problem on Geode SC3200 embedded design

I’m debugging an embedded design which includes a TI PCI1410 single
CardBus slot controller and a Geode SC3200. To debug the CardBus slot I
have been using a CompactFlash card in a PC Card adapter.

When I start devp-pccard, the card (in this case a CompactFlash card in
a PC Card adapter) is recognized.

devp-pccard -a0x200 -l9

When I start devb-eide, I get simq_timer errors:

In the past, this has usually indicated an interrupt problem.

PCI interrupts are routed to the Geode interrupt controller as follows:

PCI1410 INTA —> SC3200 PIRQB —> PIC IRQ9
GD82559ER INTA —> SC3200 PIRQA —> PIC IRQ10
SC3200 USB controller INTD —> PIC IRQ11

The Ethernet controller and the USB ports are both fully functional.
I’m using General Software’s Embedded BIOS Kit to configure the board
before handing over to Neutrino 6.1. Only the PCI INTA pin from the
PCI1410 is connected to the SC3200, I have not routed any ISA IRQs. At
boot, I am configuring the PCI1410 to use only parallel PCI interrupts.
Does pci-bios/devp-pccard support this configuration?

Try starting devp-pccard as follows:

devp-pccard -a0x200 -l9 ss -m

This will tell devp-pccard to map ISA interrupts to the PCI bus.

In the past, this has usually indicated an interrupt problem.

PCI interrupts are routed to the Geode interrupt controller as follows:

PCI1410 INTA —> SC3200 PIRQB —> PIC IRQ9
GD82559ER INTA —> SC3200 PIRQA —> PIC IRQ10
SC3200 USB controller INTD —> PIC IRQ11

The Ethernet controller and the USB ports are both fully functional.
I’m using General Software’s Embedded BIOS Kit to configure the board
before handing over to Neutrino 6.1. Only the PCI INTA pin from the
PCI1410 is connected to the SC3200, I have not routed any ISA IRQs. At
boot, I am configuring the PCI1410 to use only parallel PCI interrupts.
Does pci-bios/devp-pccard support this configuration?

Any help would be much appreciated.
