portmap?

Is ‘portmap’ available in a repository somewhere for NC users?

I can understand NC users not needing nfsd or pcnfsd. But you do include
inetd, telnetd and ftpd in the NC distribution. Why not also include portmap
so they are easily usable?

My comment below is not correct- portmap is not needed for incoming telnet and ftp.

Right, it is only required for SUN RPC servers.
