Hello,
any change the Radeon 9000 (M9) Mobility will be supported through
an upgraded radeon driver?
For the sake of playing with Photon Layers on a mobile development platform
such as the Dell 8200.
Regards,
Leon.

Leon.
There has been modifications made for newer Radeon chipsets, including
the Radeon 9000 so there is a chance it will work. However, we have not
had the Mobilitiy M9 here to try so I cannot guarantee that it will
work correctly at this point.

help (besides
your usual sources for driver development).
I am always willing to beta-test along once someone is doing Mobility driver
adaptations.

Leon.

Hi Leon,
The ATI Radeon 9000 is currently not supported. We do plan to support this
chipset, but cannot say exactly when this will be.Regards,
Joe

Hello,I could not get 6.2NC to work with the Radeon 9000 graphics chip.
This is on the Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop, without having applied the
6.2NC patches on the QNX site.I have added its Device ID (4c66) to the /etc/…/graphics file,
selected
the radeon driver.Although it almost seems to work, the display looks garbled. (I would
describe the garble as H- and V-sync problems like with regular CRT
screens.)Is this chipset going to be supported in the (near) future?
Regards,
Leon Woestenberg.
