No keyboard and mouse after fresh install

I’m trying to install a fresh install of QNX RTP 6.2.0 SE. I have a PS/2
keyboard and a serial mouse. The computer is a cPCI system from PEP
Modular Computers.

The keyboard seems to work fine. I can configure BIOS. (BTW, I turned off
PnP OS.) The serial mouse works on another system. I have not yet
confirmed that it works on this hardware.

I tried to boot te install CD. I got to hit F3 for a fresh install, etc.
So the keyboard IS working at this time. It did teh first phase of the
install and I re-booted.

When the system comes back up it displays the “A New Video Card Has Been
Detected. Confirm these settings before continuing.” dialog box in 640x480
ugly grey. OK. This is expected. But nothing I type seems to affect
anything in the dialog box. Also, there is no mouse pointer and moving the
mouse around has no affect either.

What should I try next?

More informatin:

Right after the line that says “Press space bar for Boot Options” it says,
“Unable to Allocate Resource. Invalid arguemnt.”

Does this help?

Also, I was able to boot into safe mode . I.E. No Photon. The keyboard
does work in text mode. Can I fix anything from here?

From faint memory, this may indicate the IPL or startup-bios
failed to fill the available memory (startup_info_mem) or something in
struct startup_header->info, which could be caused by
BIOS incapability.
(GRUB + loadifs may worth a try)

Well you can continue to use in that mode if you
don’t need Photon.
(you know about /etc/system/config/nophoton)
