Problem with system booting

Hi,

What does mean the following error message:

/. diskroot file for root not found on any file system
starting with safe mode
enable to locate fs-pkg ?

An error appears just after disk scanning. Next system hangs and never
boots.

How can I resolve this problem?

Regards,
Jacek

It means that the system was unable to find a diskroot file in any of the
partitions it detected. At what stage are you seeing this error? Install,
post-install, post-upgrade, …
