PCMCIA Soundcards?

Are any PCMCIA or PCcard audio devices supported? I have the
Eiger Labs one (actually made by Fujitsu but they have no
info on it now) which is based on an ESS 1868 or somesuch chip.
The FCC ID is K36MBH10403. K36 is Fujutsu’s code and under the
bottom lable with Eiger Labs, Inc. it has the same FCC ID and
everything but Fujitsu instead of Eiger. I haven’t peeled off
the top lable to see exactly what Fujitsu called it. Eiger
called it the EigerMedia 16bit Audio Adapter. (Works great
in Win95B.)

Cool card. AFAIK, no one has used any PCMCIA audio devices
under RtP. I believe that they should just work
(if the chipset is supported). However, your cards chipset
ESS 1868, one of the ESS AudioDrive chipsets, is not currently
supported by RtP. It may be supported at sometime in the
future, but that has not yet been decided.
