Sorry about the delay I was out of town for a few days. Can you suggest who
would be able to help?
-`cat /proc/ipstats’ to see if packets are flowing and
if the DHCP server responded with an IP address.
I’ve got a file of qnx commands that I’m attaching to this file (in qnx
format). I am also attaching a file of the way Windows sees the setup which
btw works. I hope you can put this in front of somebody that knows networks
at QNX.
-You also want to make sure the DHCP ID you give the network config
utility is exactly the same as what Rogers gave you (i.e. cr676723-a)
I had to change my computer name from cr19474_a to cr19474-a ! I am really
not up to par with network cards and their installation.
BTW I put in the phlip → network “gateway” value which I think is
24.112.88.1 and it disappears when I press apply ! I don’t think this is
supposed to happen.
Thanks for your help ! I am sure that it would be a simple thing for a person
who knows network cards - even if he says that it can’t be done with the
equipment as it stands.

Hi everyone,
I am an @home customer, and would like to know how I get the web to
respond. Everything works in Windows —> so I can’t blame rogers.
Cool. I am also a Rogers @home customer in Ottawa.
I have 2 realtek lan cards - RTL 8029 PCI which are NE2000 compatible
(the literature says so) : 1 for the internet and 1 lan connection for
my other computer
Cool… I have the exact same card, but I only have one of them.
—> are these lan cards usable with QNX ? (QNX has NE2000 support and
Yes.
the computer boots and recognizes both these cards
—> how do i configure these cards; first of all which is which ?
Someone else will have to tell you how to make it work with two cards,
but I thought you’d like to know that the ethernet cards do work with
@home here in the Ottawa area.
You could try doing `cat /proc/ipstats’ to see if packets are flowing and
if the DHCP server responded with an IP address.
You also want to make sure the DHCP ID you give the network config
utility is exactly the same as what Rogers gave you (i.e. cr676723-a)
