For some unknown reason, rtp fails to boot now.
After starting it gets to the following point and stops.
simq_timer: building abort ccb
Any ideas?
The only thing that changed was that I had run the package manager and
connected to the www repository. But, I can’t imagine that killing me, but
who knows.
Any help would be appreciated…

I had the same error and it turned out my harddrive was going bad.
On bootup I would see this error more and more frequently. Usually,
after cycling the power I could get it to boot. Eventually I replaced
the drive and all was good.
