appropriate people, but a press release is a press release. You can’t
retroactively change a press release after it’s been issued even if the
content within it is later proven incorrect.

Sorry for the confusion. What you have read in the press release
is correct, with the exception of the release date. The press
release says it should have been released June 2000, when in fact
we have not yet released it.

The knowledge base entry should be re-added without the reference to the
SH-4. We have no plans to support the other processors (SH-3, DSP) that were
mentioned in the knowledge base entry.

When we first announced our plans for SH4 (the press release),
things were
moving along fairly well with the port. Due to unforeseen issues,
the
general beta release has been put off until these issues are
resolved.
We are working very closely with a few select beta sites, whose
feedback
thus far is very positive…stay tuned
