-QNX 4 RTOS

QNX 4 is an older product that QSSL first marketed about
10 years ago. It was Posix conforming and is very similar
to their newest product in many way.s

-QNX RTOS v6
-QNX RTP

Both of these are pretty much the same thing. Here is
my recollection of the history of the name of this product.

  1. Neutrino
  2. Neutrino 1.0
  3. Neutrino 1.1
  4. Neutrino 2.0 (Hosted by QNX 4.+)
  5. Neutrino 2.1/RTP (Self Hosted w/Photon 2.0
  6. QNX 6.0

There are some subtlties that even QSSL doesn’t seem to have
worked out yet. For example Neutrino 2.0 was never given
away, and supported three platforms, x86, PPC, and Mips.

RTP, the free (for non-commercial use) product has only been
released for x86. I’ve heard various rumors about the state of
Photon 2.0 with respect to other platforms.

Mostly correct. QNX RTP is definitly non just a demo unless
you are planning to use PPC, MIPS or other.
