Embedded Systems Software Engineer
A Southeast Michigan company is looking for experienced Embedded Systems Software Engineers to work with their Electronic Design Engineering group. Work in a team environment to architect, develop, implement and test advanced software modules for embedded systems platforms. Work on leading edge of automotive entertainment, information, and control products.
This job requires a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience. Must have experience with multi-tasking real-time operating systems such as QNX, Linux, VxWorks, and Windows CE. Must have experience developing hardware device drivers. Must have experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and CAN. Should have knowledge of embedded processors. Experience with graphical user interfaces useful. Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate well with management, co-workers, and customers. Specifically, must be able to work with senior engineering management and program managers for scheduling, resource planning, progress and completion of assignments.
This position will require undergoing a reference or security check. This position will allow for the individual to work in either the Lansing, Ann Arbor, or Grand Rapids office.
