How to get patch B/C

I cannot find the patches on QNX and I cannot use the www repository
because I carnt use a modem or a network card and I surrounded by NT
boxes.

What simple mistake have I made.

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I am unaware why QSSL does not support users like you (and me ). I could
not find any useful link to get patches. And I’ve installed the patches in
this way:

You could download the patches from www repository under NT, save the files
on CD-RW or removable HDD and install them under QNX. Full patch B size is
about 18 MB, patch C size is about 6 MB (5 diskettes is enough). It’s a
good idea to use Getright or something like it to download. The list of
required files you can read in qdn.public.qnxrtp.os subj:Re: Couple ?'s
(under subj: 6.1 keyboard support)
If you save those files in “D:\qnx\patches” folder and connect this HDD
drive to QNX machine later, you will need to add repository in Package
Manager and enter something like:
URL:/fs/hd1-dos/qnx/patches
Repository name: qnx_6_patches
Don’t forget QNXRTP does not understand NTFS.

Best regards,
Eduard

Hi Paul,

Yes, sometimes I have a trouble when I type
http://packages.qnx.com/repository2/ > in IE5. Sometimes I get a blank
page
“Index of /repository2”, sometimes I get an error message from proxy
“URL:> http://localhost.localdomain/repository2 > not found…”. But
sometimes
I had the luck to look at repository2 from IE5 >> . Try to connect to
repository2 exactly and try Refresh button if you get a blank page.

I believe some settings of Apache are not correct.

By the way, I downloaded patches by Getright (> www.getright.com> ).

Try adding /repository2 to the URL. Do you “ftp” or “http”?
