phindows

With 6.1 can’t reliable use Phindows. Talk about step back ;-(

I’m told the problem is not with Phindows/phrelay.

What exactly is the problem. What network card are you using?
Which stack?

Hi Sean, the problem is not with networking. Mr phrelay tells me
problems are by voyager, some bye pwm.

It appears i will have to wait for the next patch/update. Mr phrelay
thinks most problems are already solved/identified internaly

Sorry about the dyslexia ;-(

Phindows seems to be working for me, but I haven’t stressed it much yet.
What kind of problems are you seeing?

Did they give you any timetable for a release of the fix?

Thanx
Marty

Start voyager or the helpviewer and use the scrool bar (or up and down arrow
key),
On my setup the content becomes unreadable.

No.

Yeah, I wondered about that. If I click instead of drag it seems OK.
Anything else?

I get this also. The scroll is super slow and hacks the display.

Have you tried using that ‘orange.jpg’ background? After waiting 20 seconds
between updates I turned off the background and it updates ok now…

No I turned the background off and I still have that problem.

Hmph???..When my background was on I could watch the phindows title
update with that ‘X bytes of XXXX total’ stuff. It seemed to be
retransferring
the entire image of the desktop rather then just updates. Even on a 100Mbps
network it was just unusuable.

Maybe play with the ram & disk cache under phindows??? Turn off that
blowup of the cursor position by the clock…I’m not sure whats the point of
that.
