Is “http://staff.qnx.com/~xtang/repository/pppd” helpful?
You need to: download it, copy it to /usr/sbin/pppd, and
“chown root.root /usr/sbin/pppd; chmod a+x,u+s /usr/sbin/pppd”.

“chown root.root /usr/sbin/pppd; chmod a+x,u+s /usr/sbin/pppd”.-xtang

I found that with IE on Windows.
The file was fine, i just renamed it to not have the .txt on the end.
