Gigabit Ethernet

Hi all,

I’m looking to use gigabit ethernet on RTP. The chipsets I’m looking
at are the Intel 82544 and National Semiconductor DP82820/DP83861. Do
drivers for these (or others) exist? IMHO, f QNX is to be competitive
for high-end network applications, it should have GBE support.

Cheers,
Kevin

Hi…

I wonder if you could let us all know when you do find out? Thanks!

my opinions are mine, only mine, solely mine, and they are not related
in any possible way to the institution(s) in which I study and work.

At this time we are currently in the process of working on
a solution. So we are working on it

Are there any Betas available now (or anytime soon?), we would be very
interested in seeing gig-e support in QNX, and would be willing to help
out in someway…
are you targeting any specific cards or platforms?
