Hello there, I have just bought AmigaOS XL and downloaded QNX RTP 6.1.0 iso
image to use it on. What an excellent looking OS!
However, I have one small problem - and I dont blame the OS at all. I have
2 soundcards in my setup, a Soundblaster Live value and a PCI128 - both
genuine creative labs cards. Now, I require them both in windows but not
necessarily in QNX. The gameport of the SB live is knacked and I use the
PCI128 (my old card) as the gameport only, therefore audio is only needed in
the SBLive. Unfortunately, QNX seems to have defaulted to my PCI128 and I
cant get any sound at all. The SBLive has been recognised (at least it is
in the sound mixer anyway) but I cant use it for default sound, any ideas?
If possible, i would like to use the PCI128 for the gameport for the Amiga
aswell but this is not required.
As a little sidetrack, I have Quake I,II, and III and UT and these run great
in Linux, can I just use the Linux files to install these into QNX?
Thankc very much
Allan
Hi Allan,
If you can please post (in text format) here the output of pci -vvv
I will see what I can suggest.
Thanks
Erick.

Allan
Start up a console ( shell )
and type the following command
pci -vvv > /my_pci_output.txt
this should redirect the output so it doesn’t go
to the screen, but into a file “my_pci_output.txt”
in the root of your disk.
You might need to be root to do this ( not sure )
( I think I got the syntax right, didn’t I guys?
