I have many zombies on my RTP system. At first I though that they were
coming from slinger but that is not the case.
What I did find was that going into photon and out to text mode again seems
to leave one new zombie copy. What is causing this and how can I get rid of
them? If there any other infor that I can provide?

It’s actually devi-hirun leaving a zombie. For some reason, under some
strange circumstances, something gets started from the ph script that leaves a
zombie when it shouldn’t. Mario was onto something that was probably
related in another thread but he couldn’t get it to replicate either. This
is a case of no one quite knowing who should be responsible for the PR so
we have a round of PR dodgeball every now and again.
Hmmm…
Just did some looking. It seems that someone finally decided it was a
kernel bug and fixed it. The current nightly builds for 6.1.1 no longer
exhibit this “feature”. Excellent…
cheers,
Kris

Ping? My post above answers your question I believe. If not, then I must
have not understood the problem.
Cheers,
